Aerobic cultures of ear aspirates showed the three most common pathogens to be Proteus mirabilis (24.5%), Pseudomonas putida (18.9%) and Proteus vulgaris (11.3%). Sensitivity patterns were also determined and implications in the management of chronic otitis media were discussed. | |
