The effectivity of rooming-in in the achievement of maternal and child bonding among selected post-partum mothers at the Fabella Hospital / J.M. Lagundi [and nine others]
Subject(s): Summary: This nursing research focused on the post-partum mothers and their newborn. Since the study is non-experimental, descriptive correlational study was used to determine the relationship between the identified factors such as civil status, gravidity and support system and the efectivity of rooming-in. To acquire data pertinent to this study, the researchers utilized the use of questionnaires. Only limited respondents from the Fabella Hospital were selected in accordance with the given criteria rather than a larger number of samples. Despite this, the limitations of the study are as follows: *time constraints alloted in conducting the study and due to the other academic requirements and obligations *fast turn-over rates of patients and their willingness to participate *uncontrollable variables such as stress and socio-cultural background *availability and adquate resources needed including the past studies related to rooming-in process In the data collection procedures, the researchers randomly distributed the questionnaires to selected mothers who were in the rooming-in process until the required number of samples were obtained Questionnaires and interviews were the tools utilized. Statistical treatment used were percentile ranking and the chi-square method.(Summary)| Cover image | Item type | Current library | Home library | Collection | Shelving location | Call number | Materials specified | Vol info | URL | Copy number | Status | Notes | Date due | Barcode | Item holds | Item hold queue priority | Course reserves | |
