Nasopharyngeal angiofibroma in a fifty-four year old male / Josel V. Mijares [and two others]

Contributor(s): Subject(s): Abstract: Nasopharyngeal angiofibroma is classically described as occuring in preteen males. Its occurrence in adults is not an impossibility but rare enough to warrant interest when one presents. Most of these are either persistence of disease from youth or de novo appearance of a tumor. We present a case of 54 year old male presenting with epistaxis and nasal obstruction of ten years duration, who on excision of the mass is found to have an angiofibroma. This is probably one of the, if not the oldest locally reported case of an angiofibroma
