Subject(s): Abstract: A case of synovial sarcoma of the hypopharynx in a twenty-nine year old female with progressive dysphagia is presented. The hypopharyngeal mass was initially managed with local excision but a recurrence was noted after eight months. The second operation done was a wide excision via a transport approach. Adjuvant radiotherapy was given.
